Q: Creating a 3D Cartesian coordinate plane of size 1x1 by using a specified direction vector I am learning about Vertex Shaders and ive been trying to work this out for a long time now. I want to create a 3D Cartesian coordinate plane that is 1 unit wide by 1 unit long. This is achieved by creating a position vector (which is a direction vector) and setting the position.y and position.z to zero. This works fine. However, I want to create a 3D coordinate plane that is 1 unit wide by 1 unit long by using a direction vector. If the direction vector is (1, 0, 0) for example, then I want a 3D plane that is 1 unit wide by 1 unit long with the Y axis going from (0, 0, 0) to (1, 0, 0). This is what I have so far and am looking for feedback.
