New Teacher Roster

As all of you may know, there are a BUNCH of new faces throughout the high school this year. This is the “New Teacher Roster” to introduce each of the new staff members to make them another familiar face!

Mrs. Lamp-

Subject- Language Arts

Previously was- LA teacher at Davenport Assumption High School

Fun Facts- Enjoys Taco Bell trips with her husband and spending time with her border collie, Rita, also her cat, Mr. Friendly

Mr. Donovan-

Subject- History

Previous Occupation- Social Studies teacher and wrestling coach at Cedar Rapids Prairie High School

Fun Facts- Graduated from Central Dewitt in 2013

Mr. Fisher-

Subjects- Publications, Language Arts

Previously was- Publications/Language Arts teacher at Easton Valley High School

Fun Fact- Enjoys playing the guitar in his free time

Mrs. Scheckel-

Office Secretary

Previously was- Social worker

Fun Facts- Keeps a little squirrel on her desk to represent the constant chaos of the office, also graduated from Central Dewitt in 2004

Senora O’Niell-

Subject- Spanish

Previously was- Spanish teacher at Clinton High School

Fun Fact- All-time favorite animal is the sloth

Mrs. Schaible-

Guidance Counselor

Previously was- an 8th grade math teacher at North Scott, elementary counselor at Davenport (Walcott), and 7-12th grade counselor at Cal-Wheat

Fun Fact- Birthday is on Christmas Eve

Mrs. Bonneau-

Subject- American Government, American National Government, & AP European History

Previously was- Government teacher at a community college

Fun Fact- Drives to school from Iowa City every day

Mr. Moore-

Special Education Teacher

Previously was- Tennis coach at Camanche and gave private lessons

Fun Facts- Has published a book titled “I Still Run In My Deams” and has also done two full marathons in his wheelchair
